Mount Carleton Provincial Park is located in North Central New Brunswick. It is about a 3 hour drive north of Fredericton, 3.5 hours from Moncton and about 4.5 hours from Quebec City. For those from the North East USA it is about a 3.5 hour drive from Bangor, Maine. Below are some directions and estimated driving times.
From Fredericton, New Brunswick (about 280km)
From Frederiction take Highway 2 West. At Perth-Andover take Highway 109 to Plaster Rock. At Plaster Rock take Highway 108 for about 4km and then take Highway 385 north to the Park.
From Moncton, New Brunswick (about 325km)
From Moncton take Highway 15 to Shediac and then Highway 11 to Miramichi. From Miramichi take Highway 8 to Bathurst. At Baturst take Highway 11 for 10kms and exit at Exit 310 and take Highway 180 West about 110km and then turn south on Highway 385 for a short distance to the Park Entrance.
From Bangor, Maine
From Bangor, Maine take I95 North to Houlton Border Crossing. From the Houlton Border Crossing take Highway 95 to Woodstock. At Woodstock take Highway 2 West to Perth-Andover. At Perth-Andover take Highway 109 to Plaster Rock. At Plaster Rock take Highway 108 for about 4km and then take Highway 385 north to the Park.
