Light Pollution Abatement
Our observing location is usually in Eaglewood subdivision, and sometimes at Long's Creek. We value the dark sky in this area (magnitude 6.5)
and are doing what we can to encourage responsible lighting to avoid
spilling unnecessary light pollution into the night sky. There are no
street lights. The views of the milky way, star clusters, and nebulas
are truly fabulous here.
